Q359
Cumberland - Avon

Although it looks flat, the west end of the New Castle Subdivision is actually a hill-and-dale railroad. The final hill that westbounds face before coasting into Greenwich crests at milepost 188.5, the location of the Ramey Detector and the Ramey CPLs. This view is looking eastward from the Ramey signals. In the distance we can see the Seven Hills CPLs. A trio of SD40-2s is pulling 454 axles westbound on track #1 at 11:25 in the morning on Sunday September 9th, 2001.
