A work train in Kent

B&O (ex-C&O) GP9 5943 hauls an empty tie train westward through Kent, OH in July 1977. The B&O main is tucked between the Cuyahoga River and the former Erie Lackawanna mainline here in Kent. Conrail, formed only a year earlier, now owns both the Erie main and the XF 40 foot boxcar sitting there.
