A pair of Wisconsin Central SD45s lean into the curve at the Columbus Avenue NS crossing. They are about to pull Q509 timetable eastward off of the CSX Columbus SD and onto the Willard SD westward at Fostoria, Ohio. The train being shoved on the right is the Stone Train. The track in the foreground is the NS Fostoria District. We are looking due north from Columbus Avenue on 4.18.97 Photograph copyright 1997-2000 by Jeff Knorek

One goes east and one goes west. The Stone Train is being shoved eastward into the B&O yard on the Willard SD while our Q509 is pulling westward toward Deshler, Garrett, and Chicago. This Industrial Ballet happens every day at Fostoria. We have spun 'round and are looking south from Columbus Avenue. Photograph copyright 1997-2000 by Jeff Knorek
