This picture looks south just west of the Washington Street overpass in East Rochester, New York. The train is westbound. The factory in the background is the Rochester Piano Works, which has since been gentrified and is now houses a strip mall and office building. Printed June 1974 on smudge-proof paper. Photographer unknown.
PC 6325
Speaking of Alcos, this guy seems to be far from the Cleveland-Mingo Jct. routine that we are told he was assigned. You will note that the unit in front of him is PC 6222. I believe that our mystery photographer had a thing for Alcos and took this picture an instant after he panned the shot of 6222.
