I always imagined being in a small Upstate New York town leaving some small watering hole on a cold winter night around 1:00am,..the scent of cold, dry air under clear, starry skies, the wail of an approaching train echoing up the Mohawk River valley...snow crunching underfoot...strolling over to the crossing to watch, to feel, him pass in the night...
